@nickpeacock20: 4:53 PM 8/29/26, my best friend went to Doggy Heaven ❤️ Saturday morning, we woke up to an emergency and rushed to the ER. Hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive cancer, had progressed so quickly that within a few hours, I had to say goodbye. We got to share a few special moments before. If you knew me at any point over the past 10 years, you probably had the pleasure of meeting my Stella girl. Her favorite thing to do was meet new people, besides giving high fives at any chance she got. It was her only trick, but she was the best at it and always wanted to show it off. I adopted Stella when she was 11 months old at a shelter in Gainesville, FL. I was a freshman in college, not knowing what I was getting myself into. Nothing bad, just the most fun, love filled 10 years with a little creature that I could ever imagine. From Florida to New York, she was always by my side as long as the place let a dog in. If you knew us, you knew the bond we had. We were two peas in a pod. She was the most unique and silly dog I’ve ever known, and if you ever met her, you got to feel her love. She was constantly smiling, asking for belly rubs or high fives, and her ears told you exactly which silly goofy mood she was in. Her favorite activity, besides playing in the snow, was sitting and watching the waves by the water, something we got to do for a very long time on her last night. A memory I’ll always cherish. She was my best friend. I’ll miss her forever. Every moment the rest of my life. She’ll always be on my mind. When it’s my time to go, bury me with the biggest stick you can find, I have a long overdue play date with my girl.
