My dry oatmeal cup exploded in my backpack. We had a code at 0730, 3 patients going to Cath lab and potentially coming back with devices, one potential ECMO cannulation, my patient had lice and was on 3 pressors, I can keep going……. Oh a code on the floor that came back with a device. Guess how many device trained nurses we had?!? 😅🙈

Bro, it’s the trenches. Last night, I had a GI bleed in one room and hyperkalemia on kayexalate… w/ C. Diff in the other. I was elbow deep in crap all night. 😭

we had a 2 year old dka, 10 year old seizure who ended up in our trauma bay, 14 year old seizure by squad who i didn’t know was coming, and to top it off 15 min before my shift ended i forgot a gown to help with an enema and it got all over me🫶🏻

I had a kombucha explode in my backpack a couple of weeks ago and get all over a book that I had in there (wishful thinking, I know) that was SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Now it bends weird and smells like beer 🙃
