The way I understood it - Ywach took The Balance back and used the misfortune to break Ichigo’s bankai. I still don’t fw Jugram after what he did to Bazz but he went out sad asl 😭

The underlying reason that Yhwach Auswahlen's Jugram is more to show the depth of his character. His "children", as we've seen, are mere fuel used for his plans. They are very much pawns, and at the core, Yhwach doesn't care about them, as much as his comments, and their devotion to him makes it seem. In terms of writing, it's drawing an almost direct parallel to how Aizen used the Espada, except for maybe calling Yhwach an even bigger shitbag than Aizen was to the Espada. At least Aizen was honest with them about saying "don't trust anyone, even me". Yhwach spread this "gospel"(using that term deliberately due to the whole he's the son of God thing) that he was going to create this perfect world just for the Quincy, except that world definitely didn't include his Quincy children. Jugram is the clearest depiction of this. Said by Yhwach to be his "other half", yet has his power taken the moment Yhwach needs it to achieve whatever goal he's trying to achieve. It's quite sad that Jugram had to go like that, but I'm sure his fate was determined long ago, by Yhwach himself.

Remember Ichigo was gonna use Bankai again, but this time he said Tensa Zangetsu. Which he didn't say in episode 45. Yhwach acknowledged it was dangerous, so he needed to take more power to destroy it. Hence why he took Jugram's power. Otherwise Ichigo might have beaten Yhwach right there. Taking Jugram's power is the ultimate acknowledgement of Ichigo's power since Jugram is Yhwach's other half. He needed his full self to stop Ichigo pretty much. Or at least almost his full self.

This happened in the manga. Thought kubo would fix it. I think there are many reasons. He did it because he needed boost of power to destroy Ichigo bankai, and he has a ruthless ego because jugram power was never his, and thematic writing to show that yhwatch is not your friend gang so he got jugram got hoed

Because he feared Ichigo’s bankai. He said he it was dangerous, and so he broke it in the future. But if it was dangerous to him then, it likely wouldn’t be any less dangerous as he was five seconds or so in the future. So he used Aushwalen again to give himself more power in the present, which would be enough strength to break Ichigo’s bankai in the future. I think, maybe.

the final lines from the new episode kinda explain why he did it in story. Out of story wise thou, Jugram was supposed to die with other in the final auswahlen but because they decided to add in extra content for Uryu right after the Ichigo fight they needed to move Jugram's death forward but since Jugram dying to the auswahlen is supposed to be a poetic death they cant really scrap that and that results in him dying to Yhwach specifically using it on him. I'm pretty sure the actual in-universe reason now is that he was using the balance to destroy Zangetsu

the presentation was awful in the anime but they added a line saying he needed it to break ichigos sword. as for his death i like how he went out. it was obvious he got done dirty by yhwach. He's only trying to justify yhwach so he doesnt die with regrets or thinking his life was meaningless. The glazing is cope/ a lie hence why he tells uryu to be with his friends and decide for himself. while thinking of bazz b as his only regret
