Nanny/ Mommy Helper here! What i’ve seen that helps most is me arriving about 2 hours before the girls get home from school and cooking dinner & folding laundry. then when girls come home I handle playtime and usually stick around until bedtime even when the parents are home to help with settling in. we eat dinner together, rotate who gives baths & who keeps the infant entertained, and it turns out really smooth! I hope you’re able to figure out exactly what you want and I hope this helps🩷

I think 2 things can be true! This may not be something you would normally desire for your husband to figure out because he can’t do it exactly how you would, however in this season you need help in a more significant way, and coordinating that help is a burden you can’t carry right now, so he stepped up and did what needed to be done(to the best of his abilities) so that you can get through this season with some of your sanity left

I nannied for a mom who now stays home with her kids. When she needs me I go over for the day and watch the 3 kids while she catches up on laundry and does house organizing and also rests!! 🫶🏻 she has two in school so I get there and take her van for drop off and pick up while she stays home.

As a retired sahm (of 2), I can’t imagine handling 4 like you do but I do know that in those moments where life is overwhelming and you are pulled in a million directions sometimes we just need our partner to see us and take the lead. You’ve got a good one and these years will be gone in a blink of an eye. Hang on to one another as a team and y’all will be greater for it

To be honest, when I watch your TikTok’s I get so overwhelmed for you. And honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I don’t know how you do it. From the feedings, to the laundry, getting them all ready to leave to be on time, the cleaning, the melt downs, and trying to get in some self care, which is so important. Please… if he is seeing this also, let the help in! Even if it’s a couple hours a week. ❤️❤️
