could you stuff something into the blossom end to stop it from folding? like one of those expanding foam bags used for transporting pcs? that way you could shove it inside and form a solid plug perfectly shaped to the blossom end?

If the blossom end splits because it’s growing too fast that means the end is dry and not flexible, so what if you put Vaseline or something on the dried up blossom end to keep it supple? Honest question as I have no idea.
