The fact that the air outside is safe and they have been holding people underground really makes me think this is just a sick experiment they wanted to do. Especially with them referring to it as the “Project” they stated that they made rules to survive underground for 500 years by the time they let everyone up anyone who would be able to be prosecuted for this would be long gone. It really is sickening thinking about it.

the pacing is one of the many qualities of silo imo. its not the type of show that keeps you on your feet all the time, it requires you to pay attention. silo is a slow burn but still intense. sadly a rare thing in today’s tv & movie landscape with netflix etc serving almost exclusively to fucked attention spans

The founders were involved in the bombing. We see Henry panicking when Daniel leaves to look for Hellen while Senator Thurman is practicing her speech. Henry instructs security to bring back Daniel. They wanted Daniel within the vicinity of Silo 1 because they knew the bomb was coming and wanted him to be Troy in Silo 1
