The Los Angeles Police Department is conducting a death investigation. Investigators say they are aware of videos circulating on social media showing the altercation. No evidence of foul play has been announced. The full circumstances of what happened after Xavier left that classroom remain under investigation. His family says he had been bullied before. Hundreds of students, parents, and community members gathered outside Franklin High on Thursday night for a vigil. Flowers and candles built into a memorial along the school fence. The school reopened the next morning.
