It's not that crazy. Money goes to the colony, and the colony kicks back a bit to politicians that support it. It's a cycle. The only solution is for people to stop fucking voting for people who take the kickbacks 🤷♂️

Data centers and Flock cameras, which many people still don't understand are the same issue, is a close second and may overtake it as the number one area of agreement. Tech companies also have super PACs buying politicians who will fight regulations on them. I think that AI powered mass surveillance is the most pressing issue because it is already being used to prosecute dissenters and that's going to get a lot worse. If we lose the ability to dissent we lose any chance of making change, we're done.
