People saying "Shinobu was so focused on avenging her older sister that she forgot she was an older sister too" mischaracterize her so badly. she didn't forget about Kanao, and she wasn't clouded by rage to kill Douma only to avenge Kanae. she sacrificed herself to save Kanao, the butterfly girls, and the innocent people Douma would've continued to kill and eat. she definitely would have lived if sacrificing herself wasn't ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to kill Douma. it was something she had to do. yes, her plan was basically suicide, but so many people see it that she only had Kanae in her mind when it was the complete opposite. she had everyone else's best interests in her mind in her final moments.. she was worried about Kanao's eyesight even when she was fully aware she was about to throw away her own life in the pursuit of saving everyone. She wasn't just angry that Kanae died- she was angry how demons have not only took the lives of her parents, but innocent people who've also had families killed by them and going through the same thing she did as a CHILD. she aided heavily in killing Muzan, and some people skip over that fact. She wanted to save and protect everyone from a demons hand, though she physically couldn't... she worked so hard to find a way she could, and she did even if Shinobu had to give her life. And yet people still label her as "selfish" and a "pick-me" when it was the only way for her to save everyone. This is why you're my favorite Shinobu editor because you understand her character unlike so many others.. <3
