There is, but we were created to have companions and yearn for them. It is in our fitrah, the father of human race prayed to Allah to bring him a companion. So, Allah took a piece from his rib and created his companion. When your soul is yearning for a companion it is because you met someone in the realm of souls and you can't wait to meet them in this world.

So true ,there’s a quiet strength in solitude that companionship can’t always offer. But maybe it’s not people in general we crave, it’s that one soul who truly gets us. Until then, being alone with peace beats being surrounded without connection.

Being alone after the tragedy of a broken marriage seems all well and nice. But after sometime you crave companionship and building a family of your own, having your own little ones to care for. These feelings they hit deep especially when you look around and it seems like you’re the only one stuck in a never ending loop.

it really depends on the individual situation and circumstances.. Being alone by choice is different to being alone by circumstances.. my husband has left this duniya and returned to our creator over 2 years now. not one day goes by where I don't miss him or crave just to see him even just for few seconds or hear his voice again, but what ever time I have left in this duniya I can't ever imagine to be with another man.. i am happy alone in my own company and with hope that Allah swt forgives his and my shortfalls and sins and reunites us both in akhirah..
