Why? People don’t want an unreliable car that they’ll have to spend a ton of money outside the warranty. They also aren’t making a ton of products people want.

Makes sense honestly. Everything they come out with something new and exciting its rubbish. Like the Buzz, electric was a choice...but $60k plus killed it. Bringing back the scout which could compete with the Bronco and Wrangler but instead is a overly fancy, and expensive EV. Both of those should have been exciting basic and budget friendly and would have sold like hot cakes. The buzz would have been the new beetle.

I had a VW ID.4 AWD for 3 years as a company car. It was manufactured at the plant in Chattanooga TN. 100% piece of crap. I’m so happy I don’t have it any more

VW hit a road block for sure. A slow decline going on for decades. Boring lackluster vehicles. I wouldn't buy one new today. They lost their way. Air cooled era was awesome.
