Honestly, none of these videos talk about how trauma affects adhd children, if you've ever seen a study of how trauma affects a regular child, it's really, really weird, sometimes even as an adult. Now, if I get into a traumatic situation, it takes me months before my body and my mind recognizes what happened. Doesn't mean I'm not affected. A lot of my actions afterwards will be based of what happened. But I wouldn't recognize what happened, and even though we would forget the memory, we won't forget the feeling. And so we could get triggered, but it wouldn't just go away. so easily, it's like trauma tends to be 10 times worse for us. We don't bounce back so easily. Especially because our mind works so differently and is it ready hard enough? Especially with this that we're ready fighting an internal battle, add in trauma. It's really horrific, like watching an adhd child with trauma struggle
