im not even joking when I say turning into dr manhattan has gotta be one of the top 10 fates worse than death in fiction. its a horrendous state of being where you see trillions of years into the future and know exactly how everyones gonna end up. you would view humans insignificantly less than humans view ants. you would exist alone for eternity once all life comes to an end. you could build whole cities but no one would live there. you will never be able to love anyone again due to being so far beyond humanity. you would have 0 hobbies, pastimes or interests and would just eternally exist. thats it. you just exist and there is nothing more to you as you dont want or need anything ever again
