Went to Machu Picchu and it was breathtaking! Literally the altitude sickness is no joke in Cusco! But so worth it!

Peru in 7 days is hard! So much to see in Lima and the cities between Cusco and Aguas Calientes. If it’s just for Machu Picchu it can be done but you’ll miss so much.

Did the 5 day Salkantay and it was amazing! I wouldn’t do a 3 day, the itinerary for it is tough! I think they start in middle of the night. The 4 day is about as short as I’d make it I think.

I had the best time in Transylvania, but I recommend taking the train from Bucharest to Braşov and pick up a car in Braşov!! The traffic is insane on the ride Bucharest to Braşov

For ppl watching id definitely recommend just basing in Cusco the entire time! So many day trips to do to acclimate like humantay rainbow mountain etc
