If this is your advice then you should probably stop giving it. I studied psychology and got a job within disability services straight after graduating earning close to 6 figures. You can also get into people and culture teams with bachelor, even honours/GDPA. Friend of mine is working in wellbeing team at a school after 3 year bachelor. There are so many roles available because psychology is so important in many different fields. The pathway you’re saying is true for those aspiring to be registered psychologists… which even then… they’re not doing a “bullshit” degree if that’s what they’re after 😊.

Horrible advice. You can do anything with your degree. But if you limit yourself to one goal (studying psychology to become a psychologist), you will crash and burn. Your degree is valuable! And don't be afraid when things don't go the linear route that you thought it would

I did psychology and became a psychologist at 25 years old. “You won’t have a job by the time you’re 30” isn’t necessarily true. I made $215k as a clinical psychologist in the last financial year. I’m not saying it’s easy to get into a masters degree but please don’t discourage people.
