Indigeniety is not defined by simple blood though, it’s ancestry plus continued cultural practice plus belonging to a continually existing society/cultural-political entity. Of course some Haitians have Taino blood but that doesn’t make them ethnically Taino and/or Indigenous. The same way Puerto Rican Mestizos aren’t Taino and/or Indigenous. If there are Haitians today who belong to some long existing Taino cacicazagos then of course they’re Indigenous, but otherwise they aren’t.
