If you are multi streaming that also causes your frames to drop, I would recommend trying one stream only streaming to Twitch to see if that helps

Happened to me, turned out to be drivers and updates I needed to do. I am on Linux tho. I noticed it happened after the last OBS update. OBS is now locking up my whole computer while streaming. I stream on a different computer than I play on. Last time I was live for 4 hours, no frame drops that stream but looked over and whole computer froze at 4 hr mark. Before that it happened an hour into a stream.

I’m one of your lurkers. You and other streamers are having the same issues. Very odd. 😳. I heard Shibb say the same. My smaller streamer community is having issues too. 😳

So this exact thing was happening to me for months. sadly there's no right answer, for me I found out I had a small hole in my Ethernet cord and after replacing it, it went away.

If you are “leasing” your modem/router they usually last about 2ish years before the performance starts degrading. Had the same issue. Replaced my router and all golden

Check bitrate settings in OBS and check if there are driver updates. Sometimes when they are out of date, they can cause network drops. I use to have issues like this. Also could be ethernet cable going bad maybe. Hard to say without seeing how it is performing and when it starts dropping.
