@catalinauribe.psych: Replying to @Rikka18 I think the onus is absolutely on the professional to know their limits and not let it affect the person seeking services! I will say there are many layers to this, and everyone has a different threshold. This threshold can also change over time as life evolves. However, generally speaking we as professionals need to protect our patients/clients, ourselves, and our profession by having effective boundaries around scheduling.
