they 100000% CAN be tax deductible though. you use yours for content creation, which is usually taxable if it earns any money. so the suit and repairs can be taxable as well since it directly affects content creation 😎

Absolutely right. Like I have a purple fox/goat and his nose fell off. I still have the nose and the head I just have to hot glue it back on. Big upkeep and my suit is adorable to me but I have kind of put some distance between me and the fandom.

I got my fursuit because I had extra money to have fun with. Sure I may wish I had extra money later on but it wasn’t a huge loss. I’m happy with it now and I am probably going to be happy with it later

And of course you can make one for cheaper. It may not be as professional quality if you are new to it, but you will learn and immense amount along the way, and the next one will be even better. Of course it's not for everyone, and can still be a bit expensive. It can really help you connect with your sona though.

You (not spesificly) save money one to the point you understand they don't matter and start spending like crazy a lot of it on very bad stuff. Lego old unfinished setes 2000€ Euro, sale and buy again car but lose 10k Euro. and many many more , that one of my friend just want fill hole in his mentality but can't find way. So I think if you young and want fursuit now it better get it now because you get older and anyway buy it latter but it not bring you any emotion wenn you get old and knees get pain every time you jump. Maybe it good to not spend all money things we won't, or make rule not more then 10% out of full income . some people call it pocket money, 100-400 dollars on Hobbys.
