One of my managers (he was probs late 20s) had zero kids or nieces/nephews and yet anytime we asked to used the restroom he said stuff like "yeah it's okay go potty" mind you, he was also not a super friendly or caring man. he had his favorites and he treated those he disliked like a dick, he hated being called "sir" or anything bc he thought it was weird, and yet he said potty

I work with dogs and I constantly use the word potty even with adults. It’s not that serious as long as the tone is normal. Like with children we make our voices higher.
