Insisten en querer ensuciar la imagen de Masad hay que aclarar las cosas y me encantan que la gente que si ve el reality está informada no se refería a Masad sino a Yahir, no hagan chistes donde no lo hay.

None of us know what our children are capable of… And we’ll never get the chance to if we don’t help them to first believe that there is something marvelous within them… something powerful awaiting discovery. It’s easy for adults to dismiss comic books or superheroes as insignificant, but I think adults are blind to what children can so clearly see. That the stories aren’t really about flying, or super speed, or magic powers… but rather people choosing courage over fear, justice over silence, and mercy over revenge. They’re stories about becoming the kind of people who step toward, when others would yield. We communicate so many things to children… about rules and discipline, listening and learning, boundaries and obligations. These are valuable and necessary lessons. However, children also need strength of self, not just for today, but also for the future they’ll inherit… and mighty problems, need mightier solvers. The beautiful truth is we’re surrounded by people who have tremendous powers. Every day ordinary people, doing extraordinary things, but I also tell Huck that heroism rarely wears a cape. That it more often looks like a principle lived out when it is terribly costly to do so, hard work that people rarely notice and is unlikely to end, sometimes… its even love… extended to one who perhaps doesn’t deserve it. The reason this is so important, and I refuse to let children walk around me feeling small, or weak, or incapable. We need them to believe in big things, to live big lives if we/they have any hope of a better future here. Self belief for children is just far too vital to leave to chance. So… I don’t tell children exactly who they’ll become (doctor, lawyer, tech genius). I merely try to convince them they are capable of becoming someone brave enough, kind enough, and resilient enough to meet whatever life asks of them. To find the gaps between us humans here and sew them up. That they already possess what power they will need to change the world…they need merely discover it… and us… their parents, their community, are always here to help. #Parenting #Fatherhood #RaisingConfidentKids #Marvel
