Mine didn't die but has been on a wheelchair, doesn't talk and sometimes doesn't remember me since I was 16. It has been almost 21 years. I have to work extra to have hope to live because if I don't no one will take care of her. I will always miss the idea of having a mother taking care of me and not the other way.

i had turned 13 3 months a day before she passed. she was 47. i make dead mum jokes all the time, because if i don’t laugh i’ll cry, so i tell stories of how great my mum was to anyone who will listen, rewatch the only video i have of her talking, look at photos, desperately trying to not let my memory of her fade
