this is one of the few lessons I really love about the anime coz like the priest said that the dead are most beautiful among the living. it reminded me of the story from St.MacariusSt. Macarius told a monk to go to a local cemetery, yell insults at the dead, an throw stones at their graves. The monk returned, an the saint told him to go back the next day an lavish compliments on the dead instead.. When the monk returned again, St. Macarius asked if the dead had responded to either the abuse or the praise. When the monk said no, the saint explained "So you too, if you wish to be saved, must do the same and become a dead man. Like the dead, take no account of either the scorn of men or their praises, and you can be saved."
