@happypatching: repost from @drboycemoney Celebrity culture can be expensive. Research on celebrity influence suggests that celebrities can shape consumer attitudes, purchasing decisions, and aspirations. And in Black America, where athletes, entertainers, influencers, and cultural icons often have enormous visibility, that influence can be especially powerful. But popularity and financial expertise are two completely different things. A celebrity may know how to make millions without knowing how to keep millions. They may understand music, sports, acting, or social media while knowing very little about investing, taxes, estate planning, diversification, business valuation, or building generational wealth. That’s where celebrity worship becomes dangerous. When we copy someone’s clothes, cars, jewelry, vacations, and lifestyle without copying sound financial principles, we become consumers of somebody else’s wealth instead of builders of our own. We shouldn’t confuse fame with wisdom. Your financial role models should be people who understand assets, ownership, investing, entrepreneurship, and long-term wealth creation. Entertainment has its place. But your family’s economic future is too important to be guided by whoever happens to be famous this week. If you’d like to learn how to invest and build wealth, visit TheBlackBusinessSchool.com and join our community. It’s time to move from celebrity worship to ownership. #BlackWealth #FinancialLiteracy #BlackEconomicPower #facts #celebrity
