Pemuda pria asal Tasikmalaya, Muhamad Syafiq (18), menjadi korban kejahatan jalanan saat hendak mencari kerja di Jalan Babakan Priangan, Kelurahan Ciseureuh, Kecamatan Regol, Kota Bandung, Selasa, 1 September 2026, pukul 08.20 WIB. Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun, peristiwa bermula saat korban tengah mencari alamat untuk melamar kerja di kawasan tersebut. Namun ia tak mengetahui secara pasti tempat yang ia tuju. Korban pun bertemu dua orang pria saat sedang dalam pencarian alamat. Dua orang itu lalu berniat untuk mengantar korban ke tempat yang akan ditujunya.

Korban pun bertemu dua orang pria saat sedang dalam pencarian alamat. Dua orang itu lalu berniat untuk mengantar korban ke tempat yang akan ditujunya. "Namun setelah di Jl. Babakan Priangan korban disuruh oleh pelaku untuk mengambil londry setelah korban turun," kata Kanit Reskrim Polsek Regol, Iptu Budi saat dikonfirmasi, Jumat, 4 September 2026. Niat baik tersebut hanyalah akal bulus untuk mengelabui korban. Dua pria itu ternyata hendak mencuri sepeda motor dan handphone korban. "Setelah korban turun, pelaku membawa kabur sepeda motor milik korban," bebernya. Melihat motornya dibawa kabur dua orang tak dikenal, korban pun berteriak meminta pertolongan. Akan tetapi, pelaku sempat terjatuh dan meninggalkan sepeda motor korban. "Mendengar teriakan korban warga sekitar berhasil mengamankan pelaku," ujarnya. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan, satu dari dua pria yang berhasil ditangkap berinisial CD. Saat ini, pihak kepolisian masih melakukan penyelidikan mendalam, sementara pelaku lainnya masih dalam pengejaran. "Motor berhasil diamankan.
