@our_untamed_journey: Day 5 in Botswana 🇧🇼 Our first full day in Khwai! We got up nice and early and headed to the Magotho side which was recommended to us. Unfortunately most of the roads in this area were completely flooded and just not safe to drive. We still managed to see some great sightings of general game! 🦓 Back to camp and then an afternoon drive trying to find roads we could actually drive on, just to be met with another flooded road. At this point we were feeling quite defeated with how minimal our options were and how limited the game viewing was… But then we decided to follow two game vehicles because we had to figure out where were all these guys driving around! And what a great plan that was. They showed us a whole area to explore with plenty of roads to explore! And we were blessed with an incredible Sable sighting 😍😍 Back at camp we had an elephant visiting while we went to shower 👀🐘 an awesome end to a great first full day in Khwai!
