Let's face it, the real shape of the whole Earth is at this point in time truly unknown. However, the known area (continents and oceans) where there is life, is situated on a vast level expanse (with mountains, hills and valleys). What is beyond the known world (beyond the Antarctic Circle) is to a great extent unexplored and undiscovered, thus remains obscured and a great mystery. The flat Earth therefore only applies to the known world, for now.

Nonsense. The argument is as far-fetched as it is fallacious. On a spherical Earth which, moreover, spins through the universe at speeds of hundreds or thousands of kilometers per hour it would be impossible to always see the same stars, such as Polaris.

distortion on the map will be appear..what ever map are using.. eg the shape of Australia.. if distortion happen, you will know what kind of map is truely give the exact same distance on the ground. But..if flat earth map to be draw with right measurement it still give u sama distance. for now there is no map flat earth actually draw by true surveying in the whole of earth.
