@liviwild_fitness: 4 months post knee surgery and still recovering from a fractured femur 🥲 Here’s what I’m currently able to do whilst wearing my offloading brace 👇🏼 1. C2 Bike 🚲 Very low resistance and steady. Mainly working on getting my range of movement back post-surgery. 2. SkiErg ⛷️ Short, quicker intervals while avoiding spending longer than around 20 minutes standing. 3. Upper-body strength 💪🏼 Keeping as much strength as I can while my lower-body training is limited. 4. Physio-prescribed leg rehab 🦵🏼 Boring. Repetitive. Has to be done. 😂 Slowly rebuilding the muscles I’ve lost. 5. Walking 🚶🏼♀️ Currently allowed short walks of up to 30 minutes to get my leg moving and muscles working again after such a long period on crutches but only in my brace while the fracture is offloaded. Turns out you can still do a LOT whilst injured… you just have to focus on what you can do instead of everything you can’t 🫶🏼 #kneeoperation #kneesurgery #kneeinjury #injury #injured
