This is smart. Just as a side note because a lot of people use white vinegar to clean their seals - NEVER MIX WHITE VINEGAR AND HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. NEVER EVER. This person isn't saying you should, but i just wanted to write a PSA.

I put 90% rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, after use I keep the door open and spray the sides/inside of machine. Have never had an odor or mold problem.

If you just leave the door open after every wash you won’t get mould. Coming from someone who has owned a front loader for 8 years and never had a mould problem.

Or just leave the door cracked open in between washes and you mold issues will be reduced exponentially. Game changer once you figure that out

if you wipe the water and leave the door open every time you finish washing you never ever get mould it works for me😏

Just gone back to a top loader. Never been happier. I can lift the lid anytime, soak easier, empty the lint easier, & if I forget anything I can throw it in!

I use powdered laundry soap and have no mold or black goop. i found when I used liquid laundry soap that it leaves the oily gunk

I've never had an issue with mine but I also leave the door open after loads till dry before closing so maybe if possible for people its a good preventative
