I’m very much looking forward to a story like you are describing. Showing the characters, heroes and villains and their traumatic pasts. Not the typical movie storylines.

Kind of unrelated, but also kind of not: I’m currently reading House of M. I know a lot of people want the MCU to adapt it. Do you think they could still do that in a meaningful way considering what we’ve already seen Wanda go through? I feel like they would be rehashing a character arc that she’s already been through twice at this point.

So she was a villain but turned into a hero?? Do you think they will do that to her in the movies?

Totally agree, I think Emma will be functioning as Xavier’s ideological foil in the new movie, running the Massachusetts Academy and recruiting her own team, possibly including Rogue to begin with

emma is such a complex character. people view her as a self-centred woman obsessed with fashion and that may be true but she’s also so much more. she’s extremely educated and fits perfectly with charles and hank adn their smarts whilst matching magento and storm for their drive and power, can’t wait for her mcu debut.

it's funny after rereading The Claremont run she wasn't actually a villain for that long; I mean it was a rival school and she was a villain of the New mutants but it was really just two appearances of her being a quote on quote villain
