that punch was in anger. you can respect police, recognize the woman was wrong and that he has the right and duty to defend himself. however if the gun was no longer in play (and she seemed to no longer be going for it) that punch is excessive. if was still fighting or reaching for it all bets are off. but the way he loaded up. thought about it and still hit her is wrong too. cops have so much power and responsibility they must be held to a higher standard

even if she did she steal, she is still a person. She claimed she was pregnant and should not have been handled like that. No need to be treated like this especially since an investigation is incomplete and no proof she actually did steal.
