I rode from Moscow to Tbilisi in 1988 on the first equestrian excursion ever in USSR. It was a dream on our part and a first in every way for them. It was very much like this trip of yours (why I’m commenting) except guided by Cossacks and almost 4 weeks of riding point to point about 1500 miles. So much wild and crazy but still the BEST trip of my life. Sometimes I still can’t believe we did it. I wish you great success with this new tour!

Not confident this is ethical. I would think hard about supporting any tourism around the use of animals. They are rarely done without animal suffering.

hey! please make sure this is ethical. some horses look very uncomfy and underweight. some of these bits are very harsh and too small. make sure the riders who are gonna do this trip are very experienced so they dont hurt the horses.

I rode horses a few times in Mongolia a decade+ ago, and I was really huge on them. What’s the weight limit for horse rides? I probably won’t ever travel again, but I’m still curious.
