This humanoid just walked onto the runway like a human model. The video shows a human-sized humanoid robot moving down a catwalk in a full fashion outfit, combining exposed mechanical joints with a highly human-like face, hair and body proportions. Companies are experimenting with body language, smoother gait control, expressive motion and machines designed to operate naturally in environments originally built around humans. Fashion is only one showcase. The same underlying work on balance, locomotion, joint coordination and motion control is directly relevant to humanoids being developed for manufacturing, logistics, retail, hospitality and eventually home environments. The next challenge is much harder than looking human.
