Ben is trying to communicate with us, but he fails, he tries as hard as he can but he only makes unusual sounds which is impossible for us to understand. We have no choice but watch as he suffers trying to make a sound close to human voice so we understand that its actually a soul trapped in a distorted Talking Ben 3D model and not just a funny video. Its alive, and tries to call for help, but fails. There was a laboratory that caused it all. People there were experimenting with teleportation back in 2023, and while almost all of the experiments failed, one of them worked and made a man disappear from our world and appear in a weird reality in a 3D model, without the ability to speak and move at will, so now we just watch as that creature is trying to say something but only makes weird sounds.

You cannot train a task into someone who does not believe in the job. That is why most restaurant training fails. We hand a new hire a packet. We walk them through the table numbers. We have them follow a server for a day while that server dumps information on them for eight straight hours. The trainee nods. Got it. Got it. Got it. They did not get it. We trained the what. We never trained the why. Buy in does not come from a checklist. It comes from mindset. Before you teach a server how to describe the special, teach them why it matters. That the salmon comes in fresh every morning and costs us more on purpose. That when they tell the guest that story, the guest feels the value instead of just seeing a price. Now the upsell is not a script. It is generosity. That is the switch. Your team stops selling and starts serving, and the check average goes up anyway. Same with leadership. You do not fix a manager by handing them a title. You train them on emotional intelligence. On accountability. On guest recovery. You show them why a leader grows people while a manager just moves tasks around. Leaders are not found. Leaders are developed. So here is how you build restaurant training systems that actually create buy in. Make it clear. The trainer knows exactly what they are teaching. The new hire knows exactly what they should own by the end of the shift. No guessing on either side. Make it simple. If a first day employee cannot repeat it back, it is too complicated. Make it ongoing. Training is not seven days or fourteen days. Train, nurture, coach. Forever. That is the whole job. And teach the reason behind every single step. Because a person who understands the mission will hold the standard on a Saturday night when nobody is watching. A person who memorized a step will drop it the second it gets busy. That is how you get a real restaurant sales increase. Not a harder push. A team that believes. Wake them up to what the work actually means. They will take you further than any script ever could.
