It’s very true but it’s also worth remembering that unfortunately we can’t just wait for fascism to fail on its own. There’s small comfort in knowing the system is unsustainable when it can still survive long enough to consume everything of value in its way. Every wildfire will eventually burn out on its own, but it will destroy whole communities along with the wilderness if left unchecked.

This same logic can be applied to a lot of privately run corporations, which inevitably rot as politics takes over to the point where they have stay alive through underhanded methods that ultimately go against the ideas behind “the free market”. Freedom within the confines of an array tiny dictatorships and our only supposed reprieve is to go founder mode. 😪
