What should an AI operating system do when new information arrives AFTER the work has already started? That's the question we're exploring in this next Dragon OS sequence. In the last five-part story, we followed one request through the operating system from intake and research to decision, production, final assembly, and delivery. Now we're introducing a different problem. The workflow is already running. Research has happened. A production path has been selected. Work is moving through the system. Then something changes. Instead of blindly continuing down the original path, Dragon OS reevaluates what it knows, preserves the useful work that's already been completed, and redirects the request toward a different workflow. That's an important capability for the kind of system I'm building. Real production doesn't always follow a perfect straight line. Requirements change. New information appears. Tools fail. Better options become available. An operational AI system shouldn't just execute instructions—it needs a structured way to recognize when the current plan no longer makes sense and determine what should happen next. Over this five-part sequence, we're going to follow this redirected request and see whether Dragon OS can adapt without starting the entire production process over again. The workflow was already moving. Now let's see what happens when the plan changes. #DragonOS #AIAutomation #WorkflowAutomation #BuildInPublic #aicast
