@brindleandbay: How Retirees Turn $500K Into Over $2M (The Secret Formula) #retirementplan #highincome #taxstrategy #retirementplanning #retirementadvice
SSI doesn’t cut it. You have to supplement with savings. Of course if you leave it alone it will grow but that’s not realistic.

I’d rather enjoy my money in my 60’s than have a few million bucks in my 80s when it’s of no use to me.

I don’t want to die with anything. I would much rather gift my children substantial amounts during my wand watch them thrive while I’m still alive instead of after I’m dead. I want to travel with my kids and grandchildren and create memories with them.

John :
2 million at retirement looks great but its imperative to start withdrawing it at the earliest or else you will be hit with RMD. Not to mention IRMAA when you turn 63 plus your pension. So if your RMD, and pension is over the threshold then your Medicare will be taxed at a higher monthly plus going over on the tax bracket.

How many times can you say the same thing without saying anything? Evidently about 4 or 5 times. Bottom line, he says you need to live off social security and pull less than your yearly growth out of 401k/IRA. That way, your 401k continues to grow while you are retired. Not rocket science, but not “enjoying” retirement either. You will leave a nice chunk of change to your beneficiaries though.
