1 feature??? Tesla’s get better with free and frequent OTA upgrades at least monthly. It comes with security cameras you can see from your phone, the Tesla can accelerate and change lanes to avoid a collision. All Rivian can do is emergency braking because it doesn’t have cameras and FSD that makes it possible. Tesla has full access and EVERY single Tesla Superchargers with full integration and link to all stations within your routing. The Tesla has more comfortable seats designed by Tesla. Tesla makes the safest cars in every single category. FSD is the masterpiece cherry on top but not the entire Sunday!

I’ve never owned an electric car. I’m shopping now. I’m looking at all brands including Cadillac, Lucid, BMW, Mercedes and yes Tesla and Rivian. I’m leaning towards Tesla for FSD. But if that wasn’t a factor then Rivian would be last on my list. BMW iX is much better

You are wrong. If you do not have FSD, you still have auto pilot (intelligent, cruise control). So that means, according to your data, 80% of Tesla drivers have auto pilot. I agree that having FSD does not make Teslas automatically the best cars. For some people that is the most important feature, probably that 18% you mentioned, before the vast majority is a collection of features that are important.

the r2 is good but rivians quality is absolutely terrible. literally one of the worst rated car manufacturers for reliability across the board.

What are you talking about! I drove the R2 and I’ll tell you the good and bad. The good I like the exterior look. I like the room on the interior. I like the boxy style. The dislikes the interior is cheap, the front seats only go back so far. It’s an issue if you’re 6 feet or taller, the infotainment system is slow and sucks, no full self drive, the range can’t touch with the model y does! Should I keep going? Lol I was contemplating purchasing in our two until I drove it and now I’m looking at the model Y L instead. I already have a model X and model Y.
