okay, for starter Nyang loved the Emperor not early but not late as well, She stated loving him during the hunt(EP 34) the scene was Nyang stated that she felt scared (regarding to the scene after where the Emperor wants her to sleep on his camp, but later on he said that he can wait until Nyang come to him without him begging of her affection) Nyang didn't show her affection to the Emperor because it may use it against her, or might lose the favor of the Emperor knowing he already got Nyang, she might get disregarded. But she also love Wangyu too, according to the interview, Nyang really can't choose between the two
