@gyujedhk12: Phoenix is building something that has never existed anywhere in the world. And most people driving down Central Avenue right now have no idea what is coming. The Atari Hotel is not just a hotel. It is a 120 million dollar entertainment complex that happens to have rooms attached to it. The developers actually said that out loud. A hotel is almost an afterthought here. What most people do not know is that the land this thing is being built on was purchased in a 10.5 million dollar deal back in 2023. It used to be owned by a radio station company called Audacy. And the same developer, Intersection Development, already opened a building on Roosevelt Row called Rainbow Road. A Mario Kart inspired apartment complex with color coded floors and a twelve sided exterior. So this is not their first time doing something bold in this exact neighborhood. The financing is also worth paying attention to. They have raised 14 million in private money so far. The rest depends on a public offering where everyday people can invest starting at just 500 dollars. They need to hit at least 8.7 million through that offering or the money goes back to investors. Construction cannot happen without it. And the room count is intentional. 19 suites plus 72 rooms equals 1972. The year Atari was founded. Nothing in this building is an accident. Roosevelt Row has quietly become one of the most interesting blocks in the entire country. The question is whether Phoenix is ready to become the city that pulls this off. Would you invest 500 dollars in this? Drop a comment. I work in the hotel industry and word is that it’s struggling to take off. Market wise it’s cool and niche but will it be sustainable? If it can do both, it’ll be incredible. I’m rooting for em

Sorry, but as interesting as it sounds, most local venues can’t keep their doors open. It’s not going to get a return on its investment.
