So you basically use it like in couple dance, where the leader applies „lead pressure“ aka pressure on hands or shoulders in the follower to initiate certain movements

So you use leash pressure as a keep going cue which for tracking and on leash scent work that makes perfect sense. Also I love your ninja moves and pixilating the foot skin you might give us ladies the vapors 😉😂

Completely off topic but I'm trying to teach my puppy impulse control and not bolt through doors, he will do this when he's calm & theres.l no distractions, but if he's hyper, he will just run out, should I just keep practicing? 😭

Why is leash pressure controversial? I use it as guidance, and don't snap super hard or inflict pain. Sometimes she needs it to 'snap her out' of a distraction, and often she finds it reassuring to say she can carry on forward when she stops and seems unsure of what to do. She's a nervous gal, so seems to need my assurance more often.

That’s excellent, using it like that for duration. I always had the issue with clicker or verbal marker and duration, worked through it but this is so effective and clear.

My boy was struggling with turning, we slowed things down and changed feom chicken to cheese I believe it was the cheese that helped the most he would backdrop for cheese if he could 💜
