pretty much if ur too lazy to watch the whole 37 other minutes of this story, the family was given 2 hours to pack their things and leave. they did do it but were quite salty while they left. shortly after that, Ethan made a friend at the gym whose name was isabel. she relates to him since she cut off contact and everything from her family in california. they slowly became best friends after a couple months. after some time passes, ethan gets a promotion but he’ll have to move from dallas to houston to get it. he immediately asked isabel abt moving to houston with him and after 2 days to think, she said yes. they were calling when she said this, and right before the call ended, ethan said “i love you”. she stayed on the call for a few more seconds after that and then hung up. they both moved all of their stuff into the apartment and when they were done, isabel kissed him and said “i love you too”. they were both happy until ethans uncle showed up at the door. he said that Ethan’s parents had been living with him and that brandon went to prison for 5 years because of him robbing a house. he also said that his mom needed help because she had been in therapy for a while and had attempted to end herself. ethan said he wouldn’t help, but isabel convinced him to give her a call around omce a month to help her. eventually ethan and isabel meet with his uncle and mom. it was awkward at first, but they talked with each other and he felt better about his mom. after that, his dad has a heart attack and needs surgery to help and if he doesn’t then he’ll die. ethan refuses to help but isabel says that it’s different this time, so he pays to help him. his family is very greatful for this and slowly start paying him back. after they get done with that, him and his dad feel slightly better with each other. and shortly after that, ethan and isabel get engaged and married. his dad had another heart attack a year later but it was a lot smaller and just needed to stay in the hospital. around this time ethan and isabel have a kid named emma. ethan gets another promotion but he’ll have to move back to dallas. him and isabel aren’t sure if they should move, but- (rest in replies)
