It not because he’s a man it’s Because she was drugged AF , unable to speak and almost clinically dead.He obviously lied many times , about her speaking while 911 call/ about sending email from Laptop, later he said it was an IPhone, timeline isn’t adding up.No fingerprints on the knife she used?
