Three years ago, I was just a girl filming random moments on her phone. No fancy equipment, no glam team, no clear direction, just vibes, passion and the desire to document my everyday life. Fast forward to now, and I got an invite to the Trendupp Awards as an attendee/content creator. Me, Tola, a whole invite to celebrate creators across Africa. If that’s not growth, I don’t know what is. This content creation journey has changed my life in the most beautiful way. It’s made me more intentional, more expressive, more confident. It’s not just about aesthetics and angles, it’s about storytelling and giving out value. About finding beauty in the everyday and choosing to share it. From filming random solo dates, to discovering hidden gems in Lagos, to editing late at night with sleepy eyes, I’m not just making videos anymore, I’m building something which is My voice, My brand and My name. And to be honest? It feels so good to be seen.
