I remember in 2022 when I failed my WASSCE. My mum made me feel so useless, but that experience motivated me never to give up on myself. My uncle gave me another chance by registering me to resit, and today, I’m a Level 300 nursing student at a prestigious institution, 37 Military Hospital Nursing and Midwifery Training College, pursuing my degree. 🥹❤️Parents should do better.

This 🥹. I went through something similar when my WASSCE results were checked. I was my uncle’s niece, while his wife’s nephew had the best results. I had F9 in Maths and E8 in Science. Even though nobody directly compared us, I felt it deeply and thought I was a failure. I rewrote Nov/Dec and got another F9 in Maths, but I refused to give up. With encouragement from people who believed in me, I went back to school through a Diploma programme and had First Class in all four semesters. I did the same in my HND, with B+ as my lowest grade. Today, I’m almost done with my Degree at one of Ghana’s best traditional universities, and I’m employed as an Export Operations Specialist in an international organisation. It took me six years, but I made it. ❤️So please, don’t let your WASSCE results define you. Failure is a chapter, not the whole story. Keep going. 🙏🏾❤️

I wrote my wassce all over again and I had the opportunity to choose a private university I wanted by my dad, moved to uk to further my education and I had distinction for my masters… I didn’t give up. Everyone is proud of me now.

God has been so good and we shouldn’t give up on anything.I wrote wassce 2021,however I failed a core subject.Went for 2022 wassce all papers and all papers got withheld again after the results came out…..waited for about 4 months before results got released for our papers.Today,i am actually a level 400 Finance student in UCC.THERE ARE ALWAYS ROUTES FORWARD!🥂📌🚶🏽♂️

You mean the wasted money for all these 3 years should be looked upon and act like nothing happened? Cmon not everyone is from the good home like yours to be paying for remedial classes and others. Do you know the amount of advice we gave and they didn’t listen? We need to let them know how hard it is outta here to search for money again to pay 8000cedis for a remedial classes. Without punishment how will one change and they’ll be going to Uni and there is more harder and difficult than the wassce. Im not against your statements but I felt my little effort and my money I spent went in vain for 3 good years.

well said, how can a standardized exam truly capture human knowledge? high marks only prove you can memorize information and manage test anxiety, but they miss critical real-world skills like adaptability, creativity, and execution.
