Who do you bank with??? I went to Scotiabank and literally told the lady I needed it to accept wire transfers from OF and she said they don’t care where it comes from as long as it’s not fraudulent and you’re paying taxes 🤷🏻♀️

you're in Canada so I highly recommend reaching out to Pathwise credit union. they specialize in high risk accounts. which is likely why the big banks are giving you trouble.

unfortunately some banks flag certain things as high risk activities, and its outside their risk appetite. there are definetly banks that will work for yoy, but sorry you gotta go through all the BS to change it over.

It’s not “because of your job”, it’s because a lot of banks have too many fraudulent claims against companies so once it gets to a certain point, as an insurance measure, they close accounts that receive frequent or large amounts from those companies or their umbrellas.
