Replying to @Stone8463 I’m proud of you too! I want you to know: you can still do it. You don’t have to become fearless before you introduce yourself. Three things can help: 1. Support your nervous system. Take a minute to breathe, ground yourself, and acknowledge that this feels scary. Use practices like EFT tapping or a walk to settle yourself before you start. 2. Rehearse what you’re going to say. You don’t need a perfect script. Just have enough of a plan that you’re not trying to invent every word while you’re panicking. 3. Do it enough times to get better. Your first call probably won’t be your best call. I learned this years ago when my daughter hired her little brother to sell her homemade cookies door-to-door at local businesses. He would get back in the car after each stop and immediately start analyzing his pitch. “I think I should say this instead…” “Next time I’m going to try it this way…” He kept adjusting and improving. Eventually, business owners and salespeople were contacting me just to tell me how impressed they were with his sales skills. He didn’t start out quite that amazing. He got more and more amazing by doing it. So if you’re scared to make the call, introduce yourself, pitch your service, or put yourself out there, you don’t need to wait until you’re confident. Support yourself. Rehearse. Then go do it. The confidence comes from doing. #Sta#StartOverStrategyr#ServiceBasedBusinessm#WomenInBusinessv#DivorcedFormerTradwifeallBusinessTips
