rewatched this the other day & this truly is the darkest thing out of the doctor who universe to ever be wrote. i’ve also seen comments say that it was probably a fixed point & the doctor knew everything would be fine hence why he didn’t come and help but i also wonder if he knew it was jack’s fault (in a sense, thinking of the better good with the vaccine), while also knowing jack would fix it.
