@ringsofthelord: In Ralph Bakshi’s animated film The Lord of the Rings (1978), there’s a hilarious little mistake that somehow made it into the final cut. 🎬 During the scene where Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are chasing the Orcs, the live-action actor used as the rotoscoping model for Aragorn, Trey Wilson, actually trips over his own sword. Since the film was heavily based on live-action footage that was then rotoscoped into animation, the animators ended up tracing that exact movement, meaning Aragorn literally trips over his sword in the finished film.
