The only person I can compare Kojima to, is the late great Monty Oum. They both obsessed other the tiny details, and it really showed when compared to games and animations that rush things and cut corners because they think it doesn't matter or nobody will notice.

As I always said, Metal Gear Solid is a ridiculously serious anti-war story. There are so many bizarre elements in the story but they all still contribute to the message that war is horrible

One of my favorite little handling details is in Phantom Pain. Enemies using a gas mask will tilt the gun to look down the sights because the respirator and face shield would be in the way
